It was a quiet day at the inn, and we acomplished a lot of the little things we needed to get done.  We finished clearing out our pantry, moved the fridge into it’s new spot, took out most of "the box" and finished planting our starts.  I am so excited to be growing mixed greens this year, I have never tried any sort of lettuce, and I have probably said this already, but I think it is cool!

Our new fruit trees are doing well, the pears have all leafed, but the peach hasn’t but it is also a late summer fruiter, so hopefully that is why, perhaps it just isn’t warm enough yet.  Our apple trees are looking fabulous, we should have another good crop this year.  The plum tree is already past flowering ready to burst out in leaves and the Rhodies and Lilacs are just showing their colors.  Another few days of good weather and it will be a wonderland of color.
