Busy week
Usually during the week we have guests but few other meetings and appointments, this week we have had only a few guests but our meetings and appointments have been a bit out of control. Our new towels arrived on time and exactly how they told us they would which is in stark contrast to what the company who we order our sheets from said. We ordered extra pillowcases on April 18th and were told they would ship on 4/22. The same dates that the towels were to ship. The towels arrived, but we still had no word on if the pillowcases shipped, a tracking number or anything. So I called today and after getting voicemail for 6 different people, I called customer service who transferred me to shipping who said they hadn’t been shipped yet. So this afternoon a package arrived and it was the pillowcases, which were shipped two days ago. The products we get are always fabulous, but the customer service is hopelessly horrible. So tomorrow I am betting the invoice for the pillowcases is in the mailbox. Getting products is always like pulling teeth, but the bill always arrives if not before the product the day after.
But amongst all the meetings, appointments, and errands we still managed to get a bit done in the attic, the bathroom vanity is in place, the wood floor is now done in the relaxation room, change room, first treatment room and hallway, and hopefully tomorrow we can get some if not all of the second hallway and into the second treatment room. It really is coming together and looking fantastic. We even hung artwork today. I am most nervous about the plumbing. It has never been tested and goes all over the place, I just hope there are no leaks. What a mess that would be.
This weekend we are off to a board meeting for the WBBG in Walla Walla and to see Grandpa George the day before the meeting. It will be good to see him again, he was just released from the hospital, he had fluid collecting around his heart. He said he is doing better, but is on 13 different medications now to help him with his swelling and fluid buildup. He said it was really hard for him to hear about the twins, and he can just now talk about them. He said the names we chose for our sons were perfect and he hopes that we will try again, and we will!
