A week old already.  Sleeping is hit and miss.  Some nights she does really well, others she just wants to be cuddled, which when you have a baby as cute as she is granting that request is easy.  She isn’t fussy, hardly cries, feeds really well and is very expressive.  Who would believe a baby so young could make so many faces.

So far she has had her first bath at home (today), gone through her first package of diapers, and rolled herself over.  Yes already.  Her eyes have lightened up a little, I think she is going to have daddy’s blue eyes, he is hoping she has my color eyes (green) with his vision.  She is still really strong, but is enjoying hanging out with us in her sling.  Her cheeks and hands are starting to fill out and she barely fits into the newborn outfits we have.  Most of them I think she will wear once and that will be it.  The 0 – 3 month outfits are much better fitting.  Her feet and legs are just too long for the small ones.

We have gone on several walks and she loves being outside.  We have had great weather so we have been happy to accommodate.  We went to the market and saw the salmon running, and this morning went to Tumwater falls and saw some salmon there too.  We also have been on a walk just around the neighborhood.

Well time for a cup of coffee, mama is tired today!
