In many ways it doesn’t seem like it has been three years already.  I can still remember our wedding day very vividly, I still need to get my dress cleaned (ouch) and preserved, can it really be three years?  Time passes us by so quickly.

The third anniversary is leather.  What do you get for leather?  And don’t go there…  We both had the same idea but Nathan acted on it a bit more quickly than I did.  A leather photo album of our wedding photos.  Until today we only had the one wedding photo that everyone else has from our Christmas cards that year!  So Nathan emailed Brian our photographer first and then I emailed him, and then I procrastinated, and then Brian didn’t return my email, and I really didn’t worry about it too much.  Then as we were getting ready to go to a meeting in Everett Nathan said in his sing songy way with his pinky finger on his lip, "Oh, maybe you’ll get a surprise for our anniversary?!"  At that moment I knew he had thought of the same thing I had and he had ordered the album.  I was correct.  Brian did a fantastic job on the photos, the album is absolutely beautiful.  I couldn’t have asked for a better gift.
