Finally!  Yesterday we had a huge debacle at the airport in Cincinatti, the guy at the counter for Delta was not very understanding or wanting to work with anyone to make sure that Hayden got on her flight so in the end she didn’t.  After several telephone calls all was rectified and she was booked on the first flight out the next morning, but only if a $100 fee was paid AT THE AIRPORT.  It could not be done over the phone as there was ANOTHER $100 fee to do so.  We called on our good friend Mary and she went to the airport and paid the fee for us so we did’t have to drive up there in rush hour traffic.  Even she didn’t have much success until the third person she talked to.  The whole event was not casting a very good light over the visit, but luckily that was all resolved and Hayden arrived.

We had lunch with Mary after picking up Hayden from the airport, it was good to see her and we have no idea what we would have done if she hadn’t have been willing to do us the huge favor we did.  After lunch we arrived back at the inn and settled in for a relaxing night.  Hayden and Lauren hit it off right from the start playing on the Murphy Bed.
